Indeed. It's just human nature to always want more... Therefore it is also for us to learn to appreciate...

once we learn to appreciate what we have, then we could be satisfied, but many times, we just failed to do so..

if ppl r content, there wil not b no word as "if"
e.g: if only i can rob chia's ticket to taiwan...

for me, i think it's mismatch of desire and ownership...

in the first place, do we know what we want?

if we know what we want and we work for it, but when we get it, we want more.. that is greed...

if we don't know we want something until something happens, then it is normal....

being content happens when u get what you want and work for.. it happens when u know what you want...

in the case when you don't know, it is a mismatch of desire and ownership.. you didn't know you don't hav the desire to own something... when you do know you can always work for that new thing that you want... you'll be content...

so, i think the key to being content, is to really know what you want..

what you want, may not be just financial matters, but includes social, spiritual and mental as well.... if you know what you really want to achieve in all those aspects, you will find it hard to be discontented... you'll too be busy working hard for the things you want to worry about the things you don't have (and at the same time can't get)...

quoting the robbing ee chia scenario... if u know you want ee chia's ticket so much, you would be hard at work thinking how to get them, including robbing, or trading, or even hypnotizing ee chia... :D

when u get the tickets, u'll be content.. :D but... if u can't get them, u might actually have a RM 2M contest to join... that should keep you busy.. and away from endangering ee chia.. hahaha.. :P

and... for the tickets, you are sacrificing the moral values in your life... so.. do you want your moral values more or ee chia's ticket more..?? you decide.. hahaha.. :P

so... my conclusion.. don't learn to be content.. just learn to find out what you want and work on getting them, given that the opportunity cost is acceptably low enough... :P
