Music and Lyrics

finally, after more than a year...

I've finally watched this movie after keeping it for so long...

watched it with Ida today.... it was good...

I have always love its soundtrack...

started to listen to it in May last year when I was in UK...

so, from now on, whenever I listen to it, I'll only remember those happy memories in UK...

Way Back Into Love
Songwriter: Adam Schlesinger

[Verse 1]
(Drew Barrymore)
I've been living with a shadow overhead,
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed,
I've been lonely for so long,
Trapped in the past,
I just can't seem to move on!

(Hugh Grant)
I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away,
Just in case I ever need them again someday,
I've been setting aside time,
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind!

[Chorus]
(Both)
All I wanna do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
Oooooh.

[Verse 2]
(Drew Barrymore)
I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine,
I've been searching but I just don't see the signs,
I know that it's out there,
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere!

(Hugh Grant)
I've been looking for someone to she'd some light,
Not somebody just to get me through the night,
I could use some direction,
And I'm open to your suggestions.

[Chorus]
(Both)
All I wanna do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
And if I open my heart again,
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end!

[Middle-eight]
(Drew Barrymore)
There are moments when I don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation

[Chorus]
(Both)
All I wanna do is find a way back into love,
I can't make it through without a way back into love,
And if I open my heart to you,
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do,
And if you help me to start again,
You know that I'll be there for you in the end!

.Rainbow Connection.

Rainbow Connection
by Jason Mraz

Why are there so many
Songs about Rainbows
And whats on the other side
Rainbows are visions
but only Illusions
Rainbows have nothing to hide

Whats so amazing
That it keeps us star gazing
And what do they think we might see
Oh, someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me

Have you been half asleep
And have you heard the voices
Well, I've heard them calling my name
Is this the sweet sound
That calls the young sailors
The voice might be one and the same

I've heard it too many, many, many times to ignore it
Oh, I think it may be
Oh, someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me

Maybe one day.... I'll gather enough courage to watch him live.....

Day 2: Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Mountain), Seopjikoji, Manjanggal Cave

Before that, these two photos were taken in the flight. We flew with Jeju Air. :p
Duyen and me

Making faces.. :p

Jeju island is honoured with three UNESCO World Heritage Natural Sites, namely Mount Halla, Seongsan Ilchulbong and Geomun Oreum Lava Tube System in Manjanggal Cave.

I had the priviledge to visit two of the sites! :p

1. Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Mountain) - Very beautiful view from the mountain. Definitely worth the climb up. :p

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern end of Jejudo Island, there is a huge crater at the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The crater is about 600m in diameter and 90m high. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, it looks like a gigantic crown. While the southeast and north sides are cliffs, the northwest side is a verdant grassy hill that is connected to the Seongsan Village. The ridge provides an ideal spot for walks and for horse riding as well.
The sunrise from the crater is magnificent. Also the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak surrounded by bright yellow colored rapeseed flowers in the spring is truly a sight to behold.

2. Seopjikoji - Beautiful place, this is where the Korean drama series "All in house" was filmed.
Seopjikoji is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju-do Island. "Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "Koji" is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. Green fields without a single tree spread beyond the cliff to where a rock called “seondol” protrudes. Also there are stonewalls along the road to block the wind on the way to the lighthouse at the end of Seopjikoji. Within the stonewalls, you may find the most brilliant rapeseed flower fields every April. Going up the metal steps of the lighthouse, you can view the whole seashore at a glance. On Koji hill, there stands a stone Bongsudae (4 m high, 9 m long and wide) that retains its original form.

The way leading to the white lighthouse and also the "All-in-House"'s house

This is the house that was used to film the TV series "All-in-House". Visitors can go into the house but with a fee. We didn't go in. :p

We paid 1000KRW (~RM3) just to take pictures with these yellow rapeseed flowers. The owner just planted the flowers on a plot of land and get fee from tourist to have their photos taken.

3. Manjanggul Lava Tube - World longest lava tube. It was a bit cold to walk inside the tube.
Manjanggul Cave is one of the finest lava tunnels in the world, and is a designated natural monument. A lava tunnel is formed when the lava that was deep in the ground spouts from the peak and flows to the surface. Manjanggul Cave has a variety of interesting structures inside including 70cm lava stalagmites and the lava tube tunnels. Only 1km of the 13,422m Manjanggul Cave is open to the tourists. The inside of the tunnel sustains at a temperature of 11~21℃, creating a comfortable atmosphere. There are rare animals such as bats living in the tunnel, which makes this tunnel valuable for researchers as well. The stone pillars and stalactites are widely spread and the tunnels shows off the cave’s topographical features. The Stone Turtle is especially eye-catching because it is shaped like Jeju-do Island.
