Prior to the dinner, we were watching Malaysia Open at home, supporting our national no 1 Lee Chong Wei. It was indeed an exciting match. I must credit Lee Chong Wei for his persistent spirit. He never give up, even though he was left behind with 1-10, but he continues to fight persistently and finally won the first match with 17-15. I truly admire his courage and his never give up spirit. He certainly deserve the title.. mmm tho... he has some advantage given by the lineman. There were a few occations where the shutter shot by Lin Dan was supposedly to be in, but it was declare out by the lineman, which gave Chong Wei the advantage over Lin Dan. Lin Dan, world no 1 played very tactful and well too.

Local shuttler Lee takes second Malaysian Open title

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei put on a stirring display of attacking badminton before next month’s World Championship by bullying World number 1 Lin Dan from China into submission Sunday en route to his second successive Malaysian Open men’s singles title.

The number 4 seed recovered from a tentative start to win 17-15, 9-15, 15-9 in a contest that was highlighted by delicate drop shots at the net from two shuttlers renowned for their finesse. It was top seed Lin, however, who surged to a 10-1 lead in the first game while Lee struggled to cope with the Chinese ace, either at the net or from the back of the court. But roared on by a crowd of more than 3,000 at Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium, Lee closed the gap and led for the first time to reach game point at 14-13 before demonstrating his mental tenacity to win the first game 17-15. Southpaw Lin, a quarterfinalist in last year’s edition, was undeterred and bounced back to win the second game 15-9 by using a variety of shots against a tired Lee.

The script during the third game was eerily similar to the first, with Lin forging ahead at 7-0. But Lee battled his way back to draw level at 9-9 before pulling clear with a series of intelligent net play and crosscourt dropshots, eventually sealing the game after Lin sent his jumping smash beyond the line.

The victory, carved in 88 minutes, enabled Lee to join a select band of shuttlers who succeeded in retaining their men’s singles titles, following in the footsteps of Malaysia’s Wong Peng Soon, Thailand’s Charoen Watanasin, Malaysia’s Tan Aik Huang, China’s Xiong Guobao and former local favourite Rashid Sidek. Lee, 22, who received his prize from Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak, was elated with his maiden victory over the younger Lin.

Lee added that the win was crucial as the prestigious tournament was the final tune-up for the world’s best ahead of the International Badminton Federation (IBF) World Championships in Anaheim, United States, on August 15-21. “Once I cleared the quarterfinal stage by beating Taufik (Hidayat), I knew I had a bright chance of retaining the title,” Lee said.

Indonesian pair Chandra Wijaya and Sigit Budiarto lifted the men’s doubles title after overcoming China’s Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun in a thrilling tie to win 15-11, 17-14. In the women’s singles final, world number 2 Zhang Ning battled past unseeded Chinese compatriot Zhu Lin 11-6, 11-2 to secure her fourth Malaysian Open title.

In the all-Chinese women’s doubles final, top seeds Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen were no match for Olympic champions Gao Ling and Huang Sui in winning 15-6, 15-8. The mixed doubles title went to Korean pair Lee Jae Jin and Lee Hyo Jung, who upset China’s number 3 seeds Chen Qiqiu and Zhao Tingting 15-12, 15-11. afp

introducing.... bora bora island, my dream destination

yesterday i've just discover that there are many beautiful islands at south pacific sea which are far away from any countries, called French Polynesia . I never know such beautiful place exists.

The island which was once nicknamed "the Pearl of the Pacific" really deserves its reputation of 'the most beautiful island in the world". Located 260 kilometers from Tahiti, Bora Bora has a population of 5,767, living essentially off tourism in a paradise-like setting. Bora Bora is an ancient volano and the highest peak, Mount Otemanu, culminates at 727 meters. The island was formerly known as Vavau, Bola Bola and then as Pora Pora. During World War II, the setting up of an American base contributed to modernizing the island's infrastructures and make it known in the United States. The tour of Bora Bora, namely 32 kilometers, can be done on bicycle, which is still the best way to appreciate the amazing blue hues of the lagoon. Stars, millionaires and celebrities have been regular visitors, for decades, of this piece of basalt rock the beauty of which, provided one has the opportunity of flying over it, is always breathtaking even to the most blase of visitors.

The island has only one pass. Divers, even using just a mask and a snorkel, will have the opportunity to watch three types of rays, of which the largest are manta rays. Highly spectacular sessions of hand feeding of sharks are also organized in the lagoon, and are not dangerous in spite of the frenzy displayed by the sharks.

Regarding hikers, guides are available, whether on foot or in a 4x4, to explore Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu. There are still remnants of the American Ma7ines'presence, in the form of rusted guns. Other older remnants, left in a tropical vegetation free from dangerous animals, make it possible to be more familiar with the less known aspect of Bora Bora, the island laid in a turquoise setting.

...*title-less*...

Someone told me, it's not only the works that count, but also the presence of you being there.

After my trip to Cambodia, i feel a bit useless as i did not help team much. But, i learnt that, our presence in a place could also mean a lot to the people there.

These three months has indeed been the busiest time of my life. One of the life-changing experienced. Been up and down.
Been lost.
Been broken.
Been dissappointed.
Angry.
Hurted.
Denial.

But hey, isn't this all abt the part and parcel of life?? I'm tryin to pick up from where i left...
Starting things a fresh..

of my many thoughts..

finals is just around the corner and my first paper is on tuesday, and i have not really started my revision yet :( just not in the mood to study. What would the reasons be?

Am i too exhausted after my fyp?just finished my fyp last saturday, 29/3 and i think everything went well.

Thank God that everything went fine, tho it was abit last minutes.. but all glory to His Name. Cos, without Him, i do not think i could get it done on time. i only have like 2 weeks to complete my fyp, when i still have more than 50% to do, to be honest, 80%.

i had to learn up Servlet programming and J2ME's record management system in just 2 weeks. i know it very well that it is impossible for me to comprehend it in 2 weeks and then deploy it in my project. But nothing is impossible with God ;)

i thank God for a good topic and a good supervisor....
thank God for the many people that had somehow been there to guide me (vern tan, simon hoh, chailee, & more~ thank you ;) )
i thank God that we could complete this project in time..

ohh.. i was baptised on Easter Sunday, a day after my fyp presentation. :) mm how do i feel? at first i thot i might feel something different, like... i dunoo... Right after i baptised, i didn't feel anything :D. However, later at night, i somehow felt close to Jesus.. :D

and the day after i was baptised, many of my friends felt the tremor (result from the earthquake in Sumatra) except me. I was there, in the building, yet i feel nothing. Before i could think, my fren grabbed my hand and ran down from 5th floor to the ground. i just followed. But i did not feel any tremor. sigh..

my mummy

today is the second day of CNY. when i woke up in the morning, to my surprise, my mum and brother had left for KL :( Mum had decided to fetch my cousins back to KL today and to come back tmrw. maaainn.i was not even informed about it. and my brother, he left just like that, without saying goodbye to me..this is so sad.

Btw, i'm in Kluang now, from Kluang to KL is about 3-4 hours drive, i guess.Tiring rite?

That's why i've always admire my mum for her strength.POWER! Before this, when i was staying in Taiping, shecame back to Taiping almost twice a month, sometimes once monthly. Yeps, she drove all the way from Singapaore or Johorjust to see us for a few days and to give us our pocket money.

She carries the burden of supporting her three kids herself, singlehandedly for more than 10 years without complaining. Driving up and down from Johor to Taiping. Sometimes, she would came back just to fetch me back to Kluang during schoolholidays. This is my dearest mummy. Sacrificing for her children.

This is unconditional love.Mummy, thank you....

a reason to be thankful

Happy Chinese New Year

i went for my CNY shopping yesterday with my frens. The trip was not futile as i had got myself a skirt, a dress and a top! :) i did learnt a lesson today. My lesson is, we should follow our heart to buy what we like, instead of what's logic.

**************

i'll be goin leaving for JB later at 12pm. I had wanted to go back to Taiping so badly, but i couldn't make it, due to my indecisiveness mind *roll eyes* Anyhow, i couldn't find any transport to go back too. This is the fourth years of me not spending my CNY in Taiping. Yes, i am missing Taiping..

i miss the food..

i miss Kaka kuey teow th'ng

i miss the chicken wings

i miss the char kuey teow

i miss the town

i miss walking around taiping town

i miss the greeness of lake garden,

the stillness of the water..

the sound of the children playing..

i miss the evening in taiping

i miss the night market

i miss Convent

i miss my schooling days

where the days were so innocent..

i miss the serenity of Taiping..

yet i miss the busyness of it during CNY..

and.most of all...

i miss my family and friends in taiping

**************

i've learnt that, everyday is a reason to be thankful..

i am thankful for the sun that shines in the morning, for the rainy days, for the blowing wind, for a good night sleep, for my family and my friends to share joys, laughters, love, and sorrow , for a place to stay ....

i'm thankful knowing the purpose of my life every morning i wake up..

i'm thankful for this life that i'm living..

i'm thankful for knowing that God is in control of tomorrow..

something to ponder..

There’s something that I would like to share here. This was a sermon I heard on last Sunday during church. And it had been bothering me. Thus, I’ve decided to share it..

I’ve not done much research into it, just some of the obvious facts which most of you had already know.

Below are some bible verses taken from the new testaments, in the books of Gospel, when Jesus was asked by his disciples regarding the signs of the Times and the End of the Age.

And this is what He answered.

Luke 21: 10-11 (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8)

10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation

and kingdom against kingdom

11 “And there will be great earthquakes in various places,

and famines and pestilences;

and there will be fearful sights

and great signs from heaven

Nation rise against nation (Palestinian and Israelites?)

Kingdom against kingdom (US and Iraq? Wars?)

Great earthquakes (Sumatera earthquake which led to tsunami on 26/12, Sulawesi earthquake on 24/01/05 )

Famines (Africa? Afganistan?)

Pestilences (AIDS? JE? Bird Flu? )

Fearful sight (the destruction of cities? Eg, Acheh, Sri Lanka?)

Luke 21: 25

23 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;”

the sea and the waves roaring (tsunami?)

Was it merely a coincidence that whatever that are happening around the world now coincided with what Jesus said 2000 years ago? You decide.

Psalm 121

I will lift up my eyes to the hills--

From whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved;

He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel

Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;

The Lord is your shade at your right hand,

The sun shall not strike you by day,

Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;

He shall preserve your soul.

the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in

From this time forth, and even forevermore.

sometimes...

sometimes you failed..

sometimes you make ppl angry..

sometimes.. things happened..

without us seeing that it coming..

sometimes you hurted someone...

sometimes you got hurted..

sometimes.. you make someone cry..

sometimes.. you cry alone in the room..

sometimes... you think that no one cares..

sometimes.. you got yourself in troubles

but there's no one you could turn to..

who do you turn to then?

Life café will never exist without YOUR supports. Thank YOU so much.

First of all, thank to the ONE above, whom allowing everything to happen smoothly. Even the national blackout couldn't stop us going on with to our program.

Lilian & Niger
– Our royal chef, what would Life café be, without YOU? Thank you for planning the menu (from 3 variety of BBQ source to the scrumptious chocolate banana) and buying the raw food from Tesco (for ferrying 300 chicken wings + drumstick around Tesco?) and the market.

Suchen
– Thank you for going back all the way to Klang just to bring back your BBQ pit and i-dunno-wat-issit-called. Thank you for making the potatoes salad.

Peak Yin
- Thank you for making the sandwiches and helping out in the Life café.

Su Lin & Su Yin
– Thank you for making the jelly and helping out in the food preparation J

Michelle & Joshua

Chee Yong , Benny , Chern Liang, Charis & more
– thank you for standing behind, barbequing for both days of the events. I bet you guys have fun there.

Benny
– thank you for helping out with the drinks.

Chee Yong
– thank you for helping out with the logistics.

Audrey & Nicky

*updated:

Samuel Lee : Thank you for carrying those tables all the way from A1 to the clubhouse.

There will be no Life café without each and every one of you! Thank you for your time and efforts. You all had make Life café a success despite of the circumstances we were facing.

Above all, I would just like to give thanks to the One above whom overseeing the whole event. When you partner with God, no matter how obstructive the circumstances may be (like unorganized or messy are your preparation), the outcome would be highly beyond our expectation, just like CyberChristmas 04/05.

.: say something :.

mariah's new singles is out, and it's called "Say Something" feat. Snoop Dogg, more of like R&B genre..

urmm... how i miss those ballad songs back in "Day dream" era. This is not that kind of song which i would go "whoaa...ahhh" at the first time i listened to it. din show much of her vocals. *sigh* anyway, i still hope that this song will be a hitz when it's officially out in february 2005. :)

her upcoming album is named "The Emancipation of Mimi"...

"Mimi is a very personal nickname only used by those closest to me... just one of those little things that I've kept for myself in an attempt to have some delineation between a public persona and a private life," Carey writes. "By naming the album The Emancipation of Mimi, I am letting my guard down and inviting my fans to be that much closer to me.

"Most importantly," she continues, "I am celebrating the fact that I've grown into a person and artist who no longer feels imprisoned by my insecurities or compelled to try and live up to someone else's vision of 'Mariah Carey.' I now feel I can honestly say, 'This is me, the real me, take it or leave it.' For the first time in my life, I feel free and unashamed to be who I really am. And that's what the music of this album and its title reflect."

Emancipation

n : freeing someone from the control of another; especially a parent's relinquishing authority and control over a minor child

ok, i do not understand the meaning of emancipation before this. i was like.. "huh? wat's tat?" :D

just hope that this latest album will be something surprising and good :D

the butterfly story

The butterfly story

by boss' mum

From the egg to the caterpillar I was with you

As you diligently fet upon My words, you grew

Just like the full-grown caterpillar in its cocoon

Abide in Me in the secret hiding place till full bloom

Commune with me in the stillness and humility... in My special way

Walk with me and draw upon My strength each day

As you dwell in My presence My voice is truly heard

Gaining insiglt into My holy Word

Lean upon Me, My child and let Me lead you, one step at a time

and in My time My light at the end of the tunnel you'll surely find..

A rainbow-coloured breakthrough..

A transformed butterfly.... My grace delight!

Alight upon My wings of faith as I set you to flight..

it's Your grace..

i've did the sillyiest thing any student would do when they are goin for thier examination. i forgot to bring my purse with me when i went for my 2nd paper this morning. My student Id and IC are all in my wallet. I have nothing to identify myself. Technically, i should not be able to sit for the exam, unless i can produce a document to prove that i am who i am..

but, amazingly.... by God's grace, the invigilator didn't force me to rush back to take my Student ID, he allowed me to sit for my examination!! yes, even without any document to identify who i am. Thank God!!!

Anyway, he asked me to show him my ID after the paper, so i rushed back to take my ID. ironicly when i return to the exam venue, he was no longer there.

So, next time if u ever forgot to bring your ID to exam, this is what you should do:

go to the exam unit, tell them what happened, then they'll authenticate your identity :)

it has always been Your grace that carry me through, thank You, Lord..

2 down, 1 more paper to go tomorrow and i'll be set FREE!!

Wednesday, November 24, 2004

He is back!

my cousin has reached Malaysia! Four more days and he'll reach Singapore, completing his 3 months cycling route from China-Singapore. Am i glad to see him? so glad.

and i enjoyed our family gathering yesterday. a few of us gathered together to welcome my cousin as he his cycling route touched the land of KL yesterday.

i have been reading blogs lately. Many have inspired me.. i simply love the way they play with words, expressing thier feeling and thoughts.

2 more papers to go, one tomorrow, another the day after...

gotta get back to my notes now..

Wednesday, November 17, 2004

finally... some updates :D

this is my study week, but i have no mood for studying at ALL! *sigh* had not started my revision yet. and the worse thing is, i'm ade in my holiday mood. :D that's what i was doin after my fyp presentation last friday. The day where i was finally free, free from all assignments and projects.

Then i went back to JB on Saturday, went back to KLuang on Sunday for family gathering, had so much fun there. In Kluang, i had did something i never do before to my hair :D Not goin to reveal much here, yet.

Yesterday, I came back to cyber with my friend's car. We started our journey at 6 am. The scenery along the highway was so beautiful that it kept us awake throughout the whole journey.

The past two months had been two hectic months for me. Emotionally and physically, i was challenged. But God had been graceful enough to pull me through.

Saturday, September 25, 2004

a busy week..

it has been only one week after the first trimester started. But somehow it seems like a few weeks to me. Maybe because i'd been very very busy. Almost everynight, i was out for something.

On monday afternoon, i've got to know Dr. Chia, which reminded me of my grandpa. He's a really nice person. Was talking to him for a while, and he told us to enjoy our uni life, don't just study study study. And that, whatever had happened in the past, can't be undone(is there such word?) . We just need to look forward and live our life to the fullest.

At night, we had exhousemates gathering ~ went to puchong for dinner, then to IOI mall. It was great to meet them again after soo long. I really missed them a lot.

Tuesday, attended CF, was supposed to share my industrial training experience. But somehow i got too nervous and tension, screwed up my sharing, and only managed to show them some pictures that i took during my internship. But, truly, i did really learnt a lot. It had expose me to the working environment and also a few new languages and technologies. But the most important thing that i've gained, was my friendship with the MMU trainees as well as my colleuges in BTexact. ;)

Wednesday, went for CG makan. I had to skip my pasar malam trip with my best friends for the CG makan. I really wished to go with them, to spend more time with them, but then again, my CG is my responsibility. I sure hope that, every other GC members will as well, make it thier priority to attend for CG meeting. ;)

Thursday, my friend, Vincent was leaving toUK for one year. I didn't get to send him off at KLIA as i had my CyberChristmas meeting that night. But it's ok, cos the meeting was really great and fruitful, wouldn't want to miss it either.

Friday, was debating if i should go for my church's power group meeting in usj. Somehow, i ended up in the meeting with mich. We had home cook food in Jessy's house (one of my powergroup member) and the sharing was great, about "quiet time". Yes, a reminder.

Saturday, supposedly to have a fyp meeting with my supervisor. However, we can't make it as one of we have to help my groupmember have to shift house. So, we had to postponed our meeting again. And i had a whole pile of works to do for my fyp before meeting him next week.

Talking about living life to the fullest... I think i did for this week. As for next week, i guess it would be as busy if not even busier than this week.

Thank you, Father for pulling me through this, help me to commit the rest of the semester into Your hands. :D

a summary of my hols

finally, my spring cleaning is over. it started at around 4+ yesterday , ended at 12!! Thank God for Pei Ling, my roomie, we got the whole house clean again *grin*

i just came back from JB on Tuesday, by AirAsia. But my flight was 30mins delayed.Darn! When i went back to JB, last Tuesday, my flight was one and half hour delayed. But then again , i've got the cheap flights.. so nothing to be complained about.

Going back to JB was great. We've moved to Permas Jaya, a new apartment (quite near to deric's house) It feels so good to be home.... our own home.. For the past 3 years, we had been renting. But now, finally, we have our own home. I can feel how relieve my mum is.

One of the nite, i went out with my younger bro, soly and deric to watch Puteri Gunung Ledang. For full detail , click here, the post's name is "aiyoh" (aahahha). Then the next day, i went out shopping with ChaiLee and Siao Fong.

On Saturday, Soly, Deric and me went for a one day(i was suppose to overnite there) trip to Singapore. The main purpose was to visit City Harvest church. Mine was to see my friend. Unfortunately, she sprained her leg, so i didn't get to stay with her in Singapore.

After getting Soly's sister's stuff (CD player and bag) we headed to the City Harvest Church. There's one word to describe the church : POWERFUL! very indeed! I was flabbergasted when i saw the building, and listening to one of the member explaination about thier church, i can't help but to praise God and thank God for His wonderful work.

The building was built with $48Million Singapore dollar. Paid in CASH. The money had been raised by the members over the period of 7 years before it was built. The church is now 3 years old. It has , i guess 6 storey underground, the sanctuary is located at P4, and it's about 2 storey big, can fit up to 2000 people. For more information about the church, click here.

The building was great, how about the service? It was SUPERB! It has 6 services perweek. One services looks like a christian rally, a congregation of almost 2000 people. Amazing. Another interesting fact, the service is live telecast over the internet. And Ps. Kong Hee is indeed an energetic speaker. I enjoyed his sermon very much. After the service, we took the shutter bus to Woodland MRT station. Every weekend, City Harvest chartered 286 buses to feery thier members, making a total of 1,842 stops.~ amazing church with an amazing God!

Goodbye BT, we'll miss you...

Time really flies. So fast, it has been FOUR months. And now it's already the end of my internship in BTexact.

Four months ago, i came to BT with a learning heart, with an expectation to learn. No doubts i had gained extra in knowlegde, but the most precious thing i'll cherish the most is the friendship that had formed during this course.

Previously, we were placed in the Hibiscus block (it's called the BT lab) together with the researchers, it was kinda tension working there, ahahah.. After 3 months, they shifted us to the management block, which is Jasmine to give way to the new employees.

Having to move from the Hibiscus building to the Jasmine block, was indeed a blessing in disguise. As the trainees, including myself had grew to learn about each other more, and thus gave birth to a new bonding of friendship, a renewed one. On top of that, we had had a good relationship with the BT family as well.

We had been well-treated by everyone in BT. :) It's indeed a spendid experience working there. We had agreed (after some long discussion on the ym conference) to treat the BT stuffs lunch at Pizza Hut to show our graditute. Besides, we had also made a card, as a token of appreciation for thier kindness. Kar Fei had helped me out in the making of the card, while the rest had brainstormed for the tagline to put on the card.

Ahh... it's a good ending.. very good indeed. I would not resist if i were to asked to work in BT for the near future. This is definitely a walk to remember.... ..for the rest of my life

one big happy family~ ahahah, my bt collegues

"aku cinta kepadamu"

ohh..i think u just need to post something up today ;p. i had been mesmerised by this song, "Aku Cinta KepadaMu" which sung by Jac in Malaysian Idol Top 12 Finalist last friday. You can get the vid HERE Many thanks to chriswo who had done a great job in maintaining the website. ;p

by the way, this song is originally sung by Ruth Sahanaya. Here, i've include some of the lyrics(those sung by Jac) :

Di lubuk hatiku tersimpan

Ada rasa bimbang

Yang enggan ku ceritakan

Aku cinta kepadamu

Aku rindu di pelukmu

Ingin ku akhiri

Yang telah terjadi

Lamunan membawamu kembali

Engkaupun keliru

Menilai erti cinta kita

Yang kau kira selamanya

"first-time"s Saturday..

last saturday, i had had a few first-times in my life ..

1) i went to midvalley by commuter and walked from Seputih station with chernliang - oh man, on the way, i saw a flasher below the bridge, but thank God we walked in crowds, so it didn't really frighten me off.

2) watched Spiderman 2 in Gold Class GSV, it cost a bomb. RM35, but since i haven't watch Spiderman 2 and it's only screened on the Gold Class Cinema plus the movie is more than 2 hours long, i guess it's worthy after all.

3) Got myself a digicam, after one long-awaited year, had been wanting to buy a digicam since last year, but.. yes, there are soo many BUTs, .. anyway, i managed to get hold of one now.. it's my FIRST DIGICAM. i've never own a camera before. Mich said, i'm gonna make a good use of it. ah ha.. my close friends know that i'm a photo-freak :p

btw, i bought Nikon CoolPix 5200 , which costed me rm1788, it came with a tripod, an additional battery, 256 memory card, a bag and a few other little little stuffs :D. i guess it doesn't look as cool and as stylish as Canon, and personally i like Ixus II more, but God knows why i bought Nikon CoolPix 5200 instead, cos i really dunno why. :D (i did prayed during lunch for a good digicam ~ maybe this is it, ahahha)

Nikon CoolPix 5200

after i purchased it, i was still wondering why i bought it and really gave lobak and chernliang a hard time :p (they went to the digicam fair with me, but it doesn't help much, cos they never give me any opinions, i have to decide myself :( ) But, thanks to neo's comment today, he said that it's a good deal and a good cam *thanks neo* ohh, and i need to thank lifelesone for patiently listening to my grumble *thanks goh*

4) my first time goin for Acts Saturday Night Service. Usually i'll go for the Sunday church service. ;p groovy service ;)

all in all, i wanna thank God for a digicam and for the blessings in my life ;p

amazing grace...

mm.. i'm still wondering why's victor still in Malaysian Idol even after 2 hours of the result show. *sigh* coz we were discussing about the result on malaysian idol board , maintained by chriswo...

.....

........

i had just browse through jemima's blog again just now. and i was moved to tears. But it's amazing how much faith and strength they have in God, of how it had not waiver thier faith and trust in God, but continuing to believe that God is in control.

didn't realise i was so strong, until..

i thought i couldn't make it to the top. My heartbeats was racing faster and faster. I keep looking up, not having the courage to look below.

"move your legs. move up" he said.

I was static for a moment. Hanging halfway on the 2-storey high wall. I wanted to give up. I shouted at the guy asking him to let me down. I didn't want to continue. I was petrified. Scared. Stoned.

But no. He kept pulling the rope despite of my cried. There was I, having no control of my movement except for following the direction of the rope that was hung around my waist. I have to go on, no matter how i feel.

Step by step, slowly, i finally made it to the top. My hands were holding on the wall tightly, didn't want to let go. Didn't dare to look below.

"Let GO of your hands! Or else you can't get down" the man shouted at me.

Following his instructions, i grabbed the rope, releasing my hand from the wall, with my eyes closed. A few moments later, i was down on ground again.

I didn't realise that i was so strong. Not until i was pushed and stretched. I was practically holding the weight of my body with both my hands. *poor hands* . Never had i use so much energy in my life before. My hands were very very weak when i came down. It was numb and painful, I can feel that my muscles were strecthed.

I guess the same thing applies to our life, not until the point where we were stretched and forced, will we go beyond our ability to reach the finishing point.

That's my first experience of rock-climbing today. This is one of the activities offered by Nescafe Roadshow that came to MMU today (and yesterday too). Besides rock-climbing, they have events like Sumo-suit wrestle and assemblying a skeleton. hehe.. i wanted to tried the Sumo-suit wrestle,(click Here , it's mich~ahahah)but i think the suit is way too big for me :p. But that was the funniest one. My favorite.

the power of the Precious Moment bible *hee hee*

apart from my misery hospital trip, i did have some great news to share *hee hee*

firstly is, i got to meet my ex-roomie which is now working as a stewardess in SIA, Weiteng (flora~eham eham). Peiling (my current roomie) drove me and Sam (dummyboy ;p - my housemate) to SK for supper with miss weiteng. hehe.. we had a great time of reunion. And i've learnt that being an air-hostess is not as easy as i tot. It's just like any other professional, you NEED to work hard in order to earn more. Yes, the paid certainly looks, but sacrifices have to be made as well.

secondly is, hahahahaha.. this is a cute one, i've never once in my life encounter this, i bet not many of you do as well. well well, this weekend, my friends, katak and shua, came to stay with me in Cyberjaya. They came back to look for a unit to stay after thier industrial traning ended.

As usual i go to church on Sunday morning, and i left both of them at home with my house keys. When i arrived home from church, i left my pink Precious Moment bible on my bed. When shua saw it, she was fascinated by it, and she likes it a lot, because it has cute pictures in it. Soon after, she asked me many questions about the bible. I did tried to explain to her, we covered topics like, Lucifer and the fallen angels to the birth of Chirst. But there's too much to talk about, and i myself am not very familiar with it. This reminds me to read my bible more often so that i could correspond the gospel of Chirst to others fluently.*blush*

Belows are some artclips from Precious Moment.

At the end of the conversation, she asked me if i could help her to get a Precious Moment bible. Stoned for a moment,(because i couldn't believe wat i heard) i asked why would she want a bible for. She justified that, bible being the best-selling book of all time has stirred her interest to know more about it. Amazing..

I would definitely be more willing to help her :D

my disappointing trip to the government hospital

720am - woke up

800am- went to Putrajaya Health Centre (Pusat Kesihatan Putrajaya) for my dental appointment which i made THREE months ago with lobak.

820am- reached PHC and successfully registered myself.

830 am- went into the clinic happily thinking that i'll get my tooth "done" by 9-93o am.

930am- leave PHC without any adjustment made to my tooth.

REASON?

i do not actually know why. i've waited for more than an hour for an appointment i've made THREE months ago for a minor filling treatment. There were at least 4 other patients in the clinic, some came later but they got to go into the treatment room first. And there was I watching them entering the room helplessly waiting for my turn to be called in.At last, i gave up. I couldn't wait any longer, cos have to go to work . I'm supposed to go to the office at 9am. But i went to the dentist first, with a hope that i could reach office in time, or maybe lastest by 930am without any cavities. Well, i did reached my office at around 930am, but with cavity in my tooth. *sigh*

looks like i had waken up early for nothing.. i guess "early birds get the worms" didn't really apply to all situations tho..

He is faithful....

everything went fine yesterday morning, i got all the time slot i wanted during pre-course registration, some of my friends don't, so thank God for it. So, i went to withdraw money from the bank using my bank book after i've registered my course, and went to work after that. God has blessed me with wonderful roomiess.., my roomie fetched me to work yesterday from campus, else i'll have to take bus to the office.

so, everything went on fine.. until during lunch time. After lunch, as i wanted to pay for my food, i realized that my purse was empty, there's no cash in it. i was shocked and try to recall what had happened, then i remembered that i didn't collect my cash (RM100) from the bank officer, but the transaction was ade made. Gosh, how could i be so careless?

My collegue then fetched me to t he bank, on the way, i was praying that the money would be returned to me, cos one of my collegue gave me cold feet. he said, most probably your money would be gone. :(

when i reached the bank, i told the bank officer abt my problem and showed them the transaction, praise God, i got my money back! They said, they were wondering where does the RM100 comes from. :D..

well, i have a good God.. hehe my fren jokingly said that, maybe it'll time for him to convert to christianity, haha.. cos everything went well for me even for the course registration, cos he didn't get wat he wants, and he said, "maybe Jesus is better at course registration" keke..

yep, i've came to understand that as long as we seek God in the things that we do, eventually everything will fall right into places :)

mfc.. not my cup of tea.. :(

i'm hungry and sleepy now.. but i have not finished my work.. howww??? :(( i need to get it done by today and it's ade 529 now.. am taking a break now :D . i'm just so bad in programming.. arghh... anyway, i'm dealing with MFC now.. and MFC is supposed to be easy, that's why it's not taught in uni.. we got to learn it ourselves, and i'm struggling.. *sob* *sob*

anyway, i have got a good news today. after a few days of hardworks by me and my fyp groupmates(peiling and zaaiyuen), our proposal has finally got accepted!! yay!! yep, thank God for that.. thank you.. those who had prayed for me too, namely michelle, chernliang and gimhan :D.. thank u soo much.. and... we've got Mr Ezmir as our lecturer.. yay!

deepest condolences to the victim's family..

it's 1106 am, i do not know why am i bloggin at this hour, i should be working now. :D. i woke up at 820am this morning, and the first thing i did was to check thestar online to read the updates of the Helicopter crash in Sarawak 17 days ago. yes, i was still hoping for miracle, that the other 2 will survived. Unfortunately, today, the 7 victims were confirmed dead, 6 bodies were found in the copter and one outside.. my condolences goes to the victim's family.. may all of them rest in peace..

i've come acrossed jemima's blog yesterday, and was really saddened by what she posted, am really feeling sorry for her for losing her dad. she's the daughter of dr judson tagal..

i didn't really follow the news of the crash, until two days ago, i do not know what prompted me to do so, but i went to read the news, and hoping that the 7 victims will be safe by God's grace..

But i do know that everything happened for a purpose, and God will have everything under His control, we could just uphold the families of the victims to His hand, and pray that He'll strengthen them.... amen.

i walked to century square for lunch today

for the first time, i've walked to century square for lunch from my work place, btexact at Cyberview logde. :(( Reason? because we are short of cars, and boonkeat decided that everyone SHOULD walk there, to be fair *rolling eyes*. anyway, walking there was easier than i expected, maybe because we walked in a group so, the distance didn't seem so far lor..

i had been reading thestar online lately, and i'm really shock with the news i read everyday. it's so sad..  there had been murder cases happening for a few days consecutively, not to mention that we'll read abt someone being murdered or killed almost every week. it's saddening.. what is happening to our country? compared with last few years, the news that we read were basically about gangterism, truancy or maybe some major accidents.

i really didn't how to end this post, most of the time i didn't know how to end one, i'll just leave it hangin in the middle hehe.. arhh.. watever la..

i leeeet yooou goo.... i leeet you fflyyy...

had been listening to "Broken Vow" the whole day and really like the song lot..

just send in the my fyp proposal to my lecturer, praying hard that he'll accept our's proposal and be our supervisor..

these few days had been very very busy with the fyp proposal... really hope that it'll be accepted. pray for me ya.. :D thanks..

Broken Vow , Josh Grobon

Tell me his name

I want to know

The way he looks

And where you go

I need to see his face

I need to understand

Why you and I came to an end

Tell me again

I want to hear

Who broke my faith in all these years

Who lays with you at night

When I'm here all alone

Remembering when I was your own

I let you go

I let you fly

Why do I keep on asking why

I let you go

Now that I found

A way to keep somehow

More than a broken vow

Tell me the words I never said

Show me the tears you never shed

Give me the touch

That one you promised to be mine

Or has it vanished for all time

[Chorus]

I close my eyes

And dream of you and I

And then I realize

There's more to love than only bitterness and lies

I close my eyes

I'd give away my soul

To hold you once again

And never let this promise end

great weekend with air asia

i had a great weekend. i flew back to jb with my bro on friday evening, and we reached jb after 45 mins from klia. man.. it's soo FAST, it takes 5 hours to reach jb from kl if i were to take bus, well, thanks to Air Asia, now everyone can fly. heheh..

we reached jb at nite, the next morning i went to renew my passport coz my aunt has

a house warming party, it can be called as family reunion dinner cos most of my relatives were present. Another reason for the party was for my cousin, as he will be leaving for china (he has been working in china for 2 years) and had planned a expediture to cycle back from china for 3 months with his fren. yes, cycling from china to singapore. and the reason for this event is to raise fund for one children home in china and singapore. power rite?

btw, u can check out http://www.spokesandsprouts.org

my cousin is on the left
Posted by Hello

didn't know my cousin is so power one. he's quite athletic one. he joined the national service for err..i dunno how long, but i think it's one year. and he cycles in singapore as well.it's indeed very challenging to cycle from china to singapore, but it's dangerous as well.i could only pray that he can reach home safely.

in the party, my mom had met a few of her long lost frens, which are my aunt's relative. ermm.. mean it would be my long long distance relative. one of them is her best fren. but they had not meet up in years.

Her name is Cat, she invited us to her house the next day. she stays in a 3-storey Bungalow in East Coast Point. her house is consider very big, for a singaporean. what happened was, before this she has a 2 and a half storey semi-D, which she bought for 500K many years back. but she managed to sell it for 3 MILLIONS!!!! and she bought that 3-storey bungalow. keng rite..

my maiden trip to cheras pasar malam

for the first time of 2 years staying in cyberjaya, finally, i've stepped my feet into a pasar malam!:) it was indeed a very exciting trip, i went to cheras pasar malam yesterday with my lovely roomates (haha) and some friends. started our journey at 7+ and came back at 12am!!muahaha

okie, let's see, i bought a pair of slipper (rm4.50),

a skirt (rm25), a pair of sock (rm8), and the best thing is my SNOOPY pyjamas (rm10). *muahahaha*. plus the food that i've bought,my total spending expenditure for yesterday was more than rm60. :D

i think this pasar malam is one of the biggest in malaysia. it has so many stalls, and i didn't even finish walking yesterday even after spending about four hours there. they sells so many pretty and cheap skirt there, however, there's no fitting room there to try the skirt. :(

overall, i enjoyed all the food there, except for one stall which i have to wait for more than 30mins to get a seat at that stall, to find out that the laksa is not delicious. ishh...

besides, i've met my exschoolmate, liyien there too. :D yay!!

thank you Lord for pasar malam :)

dad called me today.

just as i was starting to concentrate on my work. my dad called. i smsed him on

Father's Day, and i guess that's the reason he called. i haven't been keeping in

touch with him for years. the last time i met him was when i went back to taiping for

vacation. the sorta meeting ended in less than 30mins. well, i went to his house,

and said "Hello, dad. How are you?" He asked me a few questions about my life and

my brothers. That's it. Then i left. Didn't even stay for lunch or dinner. I always wonder

if i still haven't forgiven him for what had happened? But it doesn't matter anymore,

the past doesn't matter to me anymore. it's time to let it go.

what matters now is "the reconcilation". i always tot that i'm tough and macho, i can

live without my dad. well, i did. i had lived without him for 8 years or more. i thought

he doesn't matter to my life anymore. But i guess i was wrong until today, when he

actually called me to thank me for the sms, i was choked with tears. haha..

he said asked me how's my life, how's my brothers, and said probably we should keep

in touch and stuff like that.

why did i call him? i was supposed to call him long ago, even on the first MOB camp,

second MOB camp and also IF camp. the speaker sorta said something regarding dad

and unforgiveness, and i felt it the moment i heard it. though sometimes, i still struggle,

thinking if the message is really for me, cos for me, i had already forgiven him, the

only diffence in i didn't keep in touch with him. Until last sunday in church, when vinod

was praying for the dad's in our church, i decided to call him or sms him.

Thank You God, for this oppurtunity of reconcilation with my dad. Thank You God for

refreshing my heart. :)

i couldn't concerntrate on my work.. :(

ok, i guess i should maybe just divert my attention to something else. ermm... like writing on my blog..

i just got a reply from my old fren through friendster. i'm so happy as i still get to

keep in touch with her. Friendster has works wonders for me. it managed to "connect" me with my

old frens, yeps, my exschoolmates from srk convent klian pauh or sm convent (;p). some who are really really old frens, some that i

had lost in touch with for like 5 years... yeps. thank you friendster :)

late for work

aarrghhh.. late for work today. :(

and someone turned down my offer when i offered him bread :((

don't feel nice at all.

gotta start working now...

goodnite (:|

it's 0111 now, and i'm feeling very sleepy and tired..

so i'm goin to bed now.. goodnite..

song of the day : Make It Happen n Love Takes Time

chorus:

If you believe in yourself enough

And know what you want

You're gonna make it happen

(Make it happen)

And if you get down on your

knees at night

And pray to the Lord

He's gonna make it happen

(Make it happen)

gimhan never fails to make me feel like i'm a lil' girl..

i was awaken by the sound of my roomates chit-chating at 730 in the morning. they were preparing themselves for work. they usually leave at 745am, but today they were late.

so, there was i, awake and had nothing to do. normally i woke up at 8am. reaching my mouse, i started to clicked at the browser and ended up at gimhan's blog. Reading his posts really makes me feel like i'm a lil' kid, i for one, feel that his writing is very well-thought and excellent. ;p gim always said that i'm just like a lil' girl, and now, even his blog makes me feel like i am one. *sigh*

today, i went lunch for more than 2 hours :">, well, ps Sandra came to visit us today, so we had lunch in fcm cafe. the meeting was supposedly to be at 1230, but due to unforseen circumstances, we met ps sandra and shirley at 130pm, anyway, we had a great time of fellowship, and got to know more about christianity(ehm.. cos had not been reading the bible very frequent)

as for work, i guess we had see the light and now are moving on to another phase of the project. i'm given the task of creating an user interface for our program.. it's gonna be tough... but it would be a good experience :)

POLL: is sending 2 emails a day, called FLOODING? [YES:5] [NO:10]

i think it's quite cool la.. to conduct polls thru yahoo messenger :D. i lurrrvee the lastest yahoo messenger..

i went to visit a baby boy.. named Max :)

yesterday the most significant things that i did was to visit my collegue, Hui Na which just gave birth to a baby boy *soo cute la him*. we left the office at 4+pm and reached Taman Desa Hospital at 5, visited her and the baby, then left, and reached the office at 630pm.

Hui Na suffered for 30mins of pain during the labour time. she said the pain was too unbearable that she had forgotten how painful it was. *scary la*

my god sis sufferred the labour pain for more than 24hours when she had her first baby and 20 hours for the second one.

i remembered watching Human Developement video about birthgiving back in alpha.. eeee.. so gelifying. but after seeing the baby, i guess all those pain is worthy. =)

by that time i reached the office, mr ong boon keat (i'm supposed to follow his car back) had leave the office :((

anyway, i had shio cg yesterday! we had had a GREAT time..! tho at first it was a bit kelam-kabut, but somehow things managed to fall into places.

all in all, thank God for a good day.

i was really excited when i knew that i was confirmed a place in BTexact for my trainning..

i like the environment here.. and the people here are very nice oso..

the best part was, each of us were given a workstation, haha with personal pc..

mm.. lately i've been listening to guy sebastian's Angel Brought Me Here

Its been a long and winding journey, but I\'m finally here tonight, picking up the pieces and walking back in to the light, into the sunset of the glory, where my heart and future lie, there\'s nothing like that feeling when I look into your eyes.

My dreams came true, when I found you, I found you, my miracle.

If you, could see, my angel, sure the answer to my prayer, and if you could feel, the tenderness I feel, you would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here.

Standing here before you feels like I\'ve been born again, every breath is your love, every heartbeat speaks your name.

My dreams came true, right here in front of you, I found you, my miracle.

If you, could see, what I see, sure the answer to my prayer, and if you could feel the tenderness I feel, you would know it would be clear that angels brought me here.
