..where the Sulu Sea and South China Sea meet..
I was at the Tip of Borneo, where the Sulu Sea and the South China Sea meet, and the furthest I’ve ever been in my whole 22 years of life. :) two days ago.
The scenery was breathtaking and 2 and a half hour of journey from KK is definitely worth it. Well, I was not the one driving :p Audrey was the one behind the wheel.
The trip to the land beneath the wind had been very exciting and fun! I’m really thankful for those who are so kind to house Michelle and I during our stay in Sabah. I really really enjoyed myself very much. And I’m really touched by their warm hospitality.
Hours and hours spent by driving us up..
Karlson, Nina, Audrey ~ thank you sooo much for accommodating us in your lovely home and for the troubles of bringing us around KK.
Karlson~ for the Tapai, for driving us for hours to Kundasang-Tampurali-Ranau-Tambunan-Penampang. Thank you and your family for the makan-makan session.
Nina ~ It has been great knowing you. Thank you so much for being such an easy-going girl,so easy to get along with. Thank you and your family for accommodating us. I had lots of fun with ya – karaoke-ing.
Audrey~ for driving us around KK, all the way to the Tip of Borneo, to the Rungus Longhouse, Kudat. Thank you and your family for seafood, for the walk at the Sutera Harbour, for the trip to Kudat.
Jill~ Thank you for bringing us around with Karlson and bringing us to the Padas rafting!. It has been a pleasure knowing you.
Dayzee ~ enjoyed your companion so much! Thank you for bringing us to the Sapi Island and for spending time touring around with us.

migraine
dizzied. blurred vision .nausea. sleep. excruciating headache. vomited.
"Aura" refers to the non-headache features of migraines.
In classical migraine or migraine with aura the attack is preceded or succeeded by a group of specific symptoms called aura, most commonly experienced as a visual disturbance prior to the attack. Aura usually lasts less than 60 minutes, and in those who suffer classical migraine there is generally little time between the onset of aura and the onset of the attack
An example of aura accompanying a classical migraine attack is a multicolored zig-zag pattern which grows from a small dot until it covers a large part of the visual field of one eye (sometimes both). Other types of visual aura involve distortions in perception of color, such as color bleeding or the appearance of halos, or as a white spot in the visual field, similar to when a camera flash temporarily "blinds" your vision. While the most common type of aura is visual, it can manifest as any specific neurological symptom complex. Some experience tingling sensations called paresthesias or disturbances of other regions of the brain (such as language ability or smell) instead of a visual aura, either as an occasional alternate or as their normal aura. Aura need not be related to the five senses: many migraineurs experience a prodrome, a vague feeling that things are just not right. While the types and severity of aura can be extremely diverse, a given sufferer will generally experience similar manifestations of aura with each migraine attack.
Recently I had been very sensitive to light and had a few occasional of headaches.
I hope it’s not migraine.

evelyn dahh-ling, happy birthday ;)
Evelyn :p
my best friend,my tai lo, my "evil" friend, evelyn is turning 22 today ;)
We've known each other for almost 10 years! Were in the same class for 3 years. enjoyed it.
The last time was during f4, where she sat next to me. As usual, she likes to "kacau"(disturb) me.
we call each other names and pinched each other almost everyday while fighting in the class. occasionally complained to our teachers :p (not all the teacher, only to mr voon and sometimes mr tan :p)
She has turned into a beautiful young lady :p. very lady-like and "si man" now, very opposite from her secondary school image, where everyone called her "tai-lo" :p hahaha..
So now she's in UK. i hope she gets my text message.
miss you. hope to see you soon :p
Two roses for you, have a blessed birthday, i love you ;p
rose, anyone? :p
Gave some to friends and 2 to myself :p
Yes,i gave myself roses.. i think it's kinda fun to reward yourself with something once a while or surpise your friends with lil' gifts.
I like to do that.

:: Walking down the memory lane :: .Lata Gugup.
Mr Voon, was my photography sifu and my F5 form teacher, my add math and physics teacher. He was also our school official photographer and the advisor of the photography club. He always plans wonderful trips for us during school holidays. Sometimes, for weekends, just to chill out after our exams.
We had our frequent trips to Lata Gugup. It's a private farm owns by Mr Voon's friend in Taiping. The place has a small water fall, a double story ‘frame’ house, and a toilet. The double story house is built of wood and it’s not fully covered. It doesn’t have walls. The lower part is a kitchen and the upper area is the place where we sleep. The place has a power generator too.
We normally stay for one night there. In the day time, we would play with the water and at night we’ll normally have BBQ. Mr Koo would bring us some lamb chop, one of his specialties. And we would have feast all night long! After that we’ll talk, play cards or sing. Mr Voon will bring his guitar and play, some times we sang along with him. :p
We normally stayed up till wee hours chit-chatting and laughing away. The next morning, we’ll cook our favorite maggi mee or eat the left-over from the BBQ. It was really fun!
I took these pictures from my photo album with my digi cam, so the quality is not very good :p too lazy to scan, i don't have a scanner anyway.. the photos from our last Lata Gugup trip back in 2000. As always, Mr Voon is there to capture those moments~
Clockwise :
1st pic : me posing, i think i remember mr voon said, there would be some special effect for this take. some fish-view-photo thingie..
2nd pic : haha, Mr Voon always has idea of taking nice pictures, so there were we, the five of us posing according to his direction, he said it would be a beautiful picture.
3rd pic: me and jayne :p
ahh.. I miss Lata Gugup. Maybe we can plan trips to Lata Gugup again, anyone?

.on working.
Today is Saturday, and I’m in my lab (the place I work :p). Well, I’m starting to enjoy my working environment. This place I work at is really not so bad at all. Let’s see..
I get to come in late.
I get to avoid the bustling city traffic as I work in a real secluded area called the cyber-jungle-jaya.
There’s a bank in my workplace, which is very convenient to me, I could cash in/out money anytime I like.
There’s a bank of books called the Siti Hasmah Digital Library with all the reference books if I ever need any.
The food here are cheaper compared to the city.
I get to go for lunch anytime I like :p
I can come to the lab anytime I want; midnight, early morning, weekends, or holidays
I get a FREE copy of The Star every morning :p
I have many; I mean MANY annual leaves ;))
I get to watch TV or series when I'm bored :p
I get to attend the CF and the bible study.
I get to stay with my friends.
I’m enjoying life.
.
Every time when people asked me, “so what do you do?” I’ll tell them I’m a contract system analyst (SA). Then they’ll ask, “oh, so what language do you use?”
That is the part I hate to answer.
I’m here to continue developing on the previous SA’s work. So, I didn’t involve in the system design and architecture. I just practically “chap sau mei” (continuing others left over work). Initially this project is supposed to end in December, I came in Mid-June. So, I would only have six months to do what that’s left over. But now, they have extended the project for another 3 months. Come this April, I’ll be jobless.
The system I’m dealing with now involves PHP, VB.net, Visual C++ with MFC and Java!!! Don’t ask me why, ask the previous SA.
Urgh..
When I first knew about it, I was wondering how on earth I am going to integrate a program visual C++ with another program in Java! Somehow, I managed.
I’m a Java fan, I prefer to program in Java, and I really hated it when I need to learn vb.net and visual C++ as well. But thankfully, I have an online sifu who has been there to help over emails and IM. *thor jie thor jie* (thank you).
I do not have anyone to guide me on the program development here. My project manager doesn’t do coding while my supervisor doesn’t really care, most of the time I talk to him on the IM. So, I’m very much on my own, working at my own pace, exploring things myself, working independently.
I’m now studying on Java design pattern..~soon. :x
*today super suey(bad luck), I accidentally hit my right hand on the sink in the morning (my poor finger) and I burnt my left hand’s index finger while I was making milo. Arrrghhhh!
.changed.
Current Read: The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey
I have been reading “The Jesus I never Knew” for almost four months. I’m still reading, hoping to finish it soon. As I started to reexamine my faith, I’ve decided to start with Jesus. I want to learn more about him. What is it in him that attracts many? What can I learn from him? Who is him?

..friends forever..
Front (L-R): eechia, lihua
Last weekend I went back to Taiping for Canmy’s birthday cum gathering.
Incidentally, the ex-mmuCfers had a gathering in Marche Movenpick Marcher, One Utama last Saturday. I wanted to attend that gathering as much as i want to go back to Taiping.
I guess we can’t have both best things at once.. Thus, I need to forgo either one. As I’ve promised Canmy to go back, I decided to skip my first ex-mmuCfers gathering.
After breakfast we sent Limei and Yanhui off to the bus station.
*more pics soon
Limei has uploaded all the pictures in her blog, here
