an astounding night to remember .: an intimate evening with Mariah Carey, Charmbracelat world tour, 2004 :.

i really enjoyed myself thruout the whole concert, eventhough i had to wait for almost one and a half hour for the concert start (why? cos we have to wait for our V VIP, Agong) the concert was amazing, her voice was as melodious as before.. throughout the whole concert, she wore only one outfit, she said "i have to play by the rule, sorry if i'm being boring" It's very kind of her to respect our government, however, i would prefer her to change to a least a few costumes. I sat at VIP block 2 row N #1, with my fren, joanne, and another 2 sisterswho had won the "Mariah Carey SMS contest", Hui Lin and Hui Ming. it was an instant bonding, cos four of us are HUGE fans of Mariah. It seemed that not many people who are seated at the VIP seats know her songs, mm.. maybe like 30% of them know her songs really well, so, when four of us sang along wif her, those ppl around was like.. ~wow, these girls really know her songs well~ kekekek.. it's really like a dream come true to see her perfome , especially here, in Malaysia. i really like all the songs that she sung tat nite.. however, tat's this one song that really really inspire me... and gives me a betta picture of her, is "Saving My Grace". She said tis songs means a lot to her, and she wrote it. As she sing tis song, the big screen shows some of her clips, like the time when she broke down, and how finally how she pull through . the song made my heart ache. i think the song is a thanksgiving song.It shows of how the Lord had delivered her from dilemma, how God has strengthen her throughout her journey of life...

she actually ended the concert with the song "butterfly", but she didn't even perform the song "hero". When she walked into backstage as the light turned off, almost every audience, stood up and shouted "we want more". i think after few minutes, she walked out wif the songs "vision of love" and "hero". everyone was overjoyed and sang along with her. They ran to the front to get a closer view of her. we didn't do tat, cos we'll be meeting her backstage anyway. kkekekeke..



after the concert ended, we went to the Mandarin Oriented Hotel to meet her, cos the stadium was too hot for her. i guess she went back to shower. the Tm-net representative, was very kind to bring us to the hotel. finally we reached the hotel, we can only see her for 5 mins, go in in a batch of 10persons, ithink around 20 persons got the chance to see her. But when we see her, we are not allowed to hug her, to take photos wif her nor to take her autograph.



as we were waiting outside the room, she came down from the escalator with her bodyguard cum manager (i dunno his name, but he has got HUGE biceps), i was waving at her, and we shouted her name as she walked into the room. she was wearling a long black dress.



when it was my time to see her, i wen straight to shake her hands and asking for a hug. hehe. but the bodyguard said "No, no, NO HUGS", then i passed her the gifts i've made for her, and kept talking to her, and the bodyguard said "photo first, then only gifts, understand" he even asked me to look at him and listen to him. *bweks* I stood just right beside her when we were taking photograph, then i whispered to her, "can i have your autograph", joanne did the same thing, cos i wen in with her. but the bodyguard heard it, again he said, "No no, no autograph". Mariah Carey, gave us the helpless look, showing that she was sorry. But i just, i think i whine at her saying "pleeeeaseeeee". She was soo kind and sweet, she said "alrite, quickly, where's the pen" then she signed for us. soo sweeeeeeeeet riteee :) i think only joanne and i got her signature, i'm not sure about other fans though, but my frens, hui lin and hui ming went in after us, didn't get to shake her hands. I was wondering, if it is caused by our disobidient. It was a really sweet nite..

God has been so good to me, granting all my prayers. :) I had won 2 VIP seats and backstage passes to Mariah Carey concert in Stadium Merdeka yesterday. The concert was GREAT, really, she really got a beautiful voice. hehe... anyway, one week before the concert, i tried to enter the mix fm "Mariah Mania" contest, to win VIP seats, as well as backstage passes, plus A TRIP TO DUBAI to catch her concert on 26 feb, including RM1000 spending money. I had to wait for the "cue to call" everyday for last week, the feeling was indescribleable, it was a mixture of, excitement, happy, sad and dissapointment. Happy was because, it's time for the cue to call, and i have the chance to be the grand prize winner for MIX fim, that's if i get thru the line which is so damn hard to get thru. At the same week, i had FOUR tests and ONE presentation, i seriously dunno how i survived through that, but i guess God had been gracious enough to survived me through it. I had no worries at all, i was at peace most of the time, doing what i can do today and not worrying about what will happen tomorrow. Anyway as the date of concert gets nearer, and i still haven't get my ticket, my god-sis has decided to give a treat to her concert, knowing tat i couldn't affort it. *so sweet, rite* So, i bought the ticket, which costed RM268. ACTually, i tot of upgrading the ticket to 388, cos my fren will be goin for the 388 one, but before i did tat, i got a call from bluehyppo, saying tat i've WON the GRAND PRIZE!!*praise GOD* it's truly amazing, cos when i asked them, the senior editor from bluehyppo who called me,Marina, for the second highest point for the contest, cos i tot i've got the highest point. Marina said another guy got higher points than me,but the thing is , he has got only one streamyx account, so, they disqualified him, i've got 7, and they chose me to be the winner!! *Praise God* . The girls who are incharge of the contest are Marina and Sheena, they had been a blessing to me. On thursday, Marina asked me if i would like to see MARIAH from Klia , i said yes, and they fetched me to klia wif another fren of mine. After the concert, we were supposed to meet Mariah backstage, but it was too hot for her, so she went back to the hotel first, and we are to meet her from the hotel. Marina and Sheena went to the hotel wif me. When we reached there, other winners who got backstage passes from Metrojaya and 98.8 fm , asked us how we get there, cos they have to go there all by themselves. they were so envious of us, cos we were so well-treated by the tm-net staff. *GOD is good rite*.. and finally.. i met ms Mariah Carey..... :)

friends forever...

i had a gathering wif my exschoolmates yesterday in midvalley. 6 of us.. it's so nice to meet the rest.. we went to nando's for lunch, then shop, took pictures, and went to kim gary for dinner. some of us had not been meeting since last year. one of my fren was back from australia, and she together with another fren came down from taiping for this gathering.. *how sweet*. as time goes by, it's ade the third year since we left school, and most of us have grown more matured. we become more tolerate to one another as we only meet once a year. :)

i wan to go to mariah carey's concert!!

tried to enter the contest in mix fm that gave away free tickets to mariah carey's contest. borrowed my fren's phone to listen to the radio when i was in the class. then i heard MC's song, and tot that the contest is starting.. so i called up mix fm, and left the class.. manatau.. they were just playing her song, it's not the contest :(. after that i dare not to go in to the class
